The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new prospects, developing strong client relationships, and securing long-term business across both products.This is a true hunter-style role, suited to someone who enjoys winning new accounts and building revenue in a competitive freight forwarding market.Core ResponsibilitiesIdentify, target, and secure new business opportunities across international Air and Ocean freight servicesBuild and manage a healthy pipeline of prospective customers through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and market mappingLead the full sales cycle from initial contact through to proposal, negotiation, and account onboardingWork closely with pricing, operations, and trade lane teams to develop tailored freight solutions and competitive quotationsConduct client meetings, presentations, and commercial negotiations with decision-makers across procurement, logistics, and senior leadershipMaintain accurate pipeline activity, forecasting, and opportunity tracking through CRM systemsStay informed on market conditions, competitor activity, and key trade lanes relevant to Air and Ocean freightRequirements3–5+ years of experience in freight forwarding sales with a focus on Air and/or Ocean freightProven track record of winning new business within international logisticsStrong understanding of global forwarding processes, Incoterms, and supply chain solutionsConfident communicator with strong presentation and negotiation skills
