Maintenance Lead - 1st Shift

Job Description Magic Coil Products is a successful and family-owned steel processing facility located in Butler, IN. We are currently in search of a well-rounded Maintenance Lead for 1st shift. The ideal candidate would have multi-craft skills including PLC, welding, mechanical and electrical experience. We are looking for someone with solid work history in Maintenance within a manufacturing setting, and preferably has experience as a Maintenance Lead. This person would have one Maintenance Tech reporting to them.We are an equal opportunity employer.Our steel processing and other equipment consists of the following:60" Braner slitter72" Braner slitter72" Red Bud multi-blanking lineForkliftsOverhead CranesPRIMARY JOB DUTIESPerform preventative maintenance on production equipment & overhead cranesRepair all production equipment as neededPerform breakdown analysisPerform general housekeepingUpgrade production line with new equipment/technologySelect and supervise outside contractors when neededFollow ISO requirementsDocumentation of work schedule and work tasks completedEXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Expertise in troubleshooting and repair of flat-rolled steel processing equipment (i.e. slitter, multi-blank line)PLC (e.g., industrial maintenance, computer control systems, etc.)Lift truck repairs and preventative maintenanceOverhead Crane inspection and repairsMechanical systems (e.g., gear boxes, chains, sprockets, motors, seals, bearings)Hydraulic systems (high pressure cylinders, pumps, valves, troubleshooting)Pneumatics (solenoids, cylinders, motor brakes, reading, troubleshooting)Pneumatics/air compression (e.g., valves, cylinders, etc.)Gearing and gear boxes (rebuilds, ordering parts,)Pumps (e.g., troubleshooting, replacing seals/motors, understanding specs)Basic electrical systems (e.g., starters, fuses, contacts, relays)Fabrication and weldingProduct manuals (e.g., reading and applying knowledge to make repairs)Reading mechanical drawings (e.g., hydraulics, pneumatics)Company DescriptionMagic Coil Products is a full-line flat roll steel processing and service center located in Butler, Indiana.
