Lab Advocate (Hybrid in LA/Irvine, CA)

Our platform is built to improve quality, transparency, and efficiency while preserving clinical autonomy.We are seeking a Lab Advocate to play a critical role in how our lab network and clinical partners work together. This role is ideal for someone based in the Los Angeles or Irvine area who can operate in a hybrid capacity - combining hands‑on collaboration with labs and practices alongside remote, cross‑functional work.You will act as the connective tissue between labs and practices, ensuring alignment on case design, resolving challenges, and identifying opportunities to improve workflows at scale. This is not a transactional role; it is central to delivering consistent, high‑quality outcomes across the network.What You’ll DoServe as the primary bridge between partner labs and dental practices, ensuring clear communication, aligned expectations, and strong working relationshipsTranslate between clinical and technical perspectives, helping both sides arrive at optimal case outcomesCollaborate on case planning and design, aligning on materials, workflows, and clinical intentTroubleshoot complex case issues, working cross‑functionally to resolve root causes—not just symptomsIdentify patterns in remakes, delays, or inefficiencies and drive systemic improvements across the networkSupport and guide CAD/CAM workflows, including design quality, file integrity, and production processesAct as a mediator in high‑friction situations, bringing stakeholders to alignment and maintaining trustContribute to continuous improvement initiatives that elevate both lab performance and clinical outcomesThe Ideal CandidateBrings 8+ years of experience as a dental technician or in a closely related role, with deep expertise across removable, implant, and fixed prostheticsHas strong CAD/CAM experience (e.g., 3Shape, Exocad) and a deep understanding of digital dentistry workflowsIs equally comfortable diving into case‑level detail and stepping back to identify broader system patternsIs a strong communicator who can navigate complex or sensitive situations and align multiple stakeholdersHas a track record of solving complex problems and improving processes—not just executing within themThrives in a cross‑functional, fast‑moving environment and is energized by building better systems from scratchIs motivated by improving patient outcomes and advancing the quality of care through better lab‑clinical collaborationWhat We OfferCompetitive base salary with bonus opportunity of up to 20%EquityMedical, dental, and vision insuranceUnlimited PTO401(k) with company matchHybrid work environment (Los Angeles / Irvine) with flexibilityIf you are excited about improving how labs and practices work together - and want to play a central role in shaping a more modern, high‑performing dental ecosystem - we would love to hear from you.#J-18808-Ljbffr
