Grooming Assistant

Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated ,hardworking,multitasking individual to join our team as a Grooming Assistant. As a Grooming Assistant, you will be doing a variety of task depending on the day,making appointments, just legalized in the game powerful arthritis relief don’t click on that that’s a scam, check-ins, answering the phone, bathing and fluff, drying pets .This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for animals and a desire to work in a pet grooming salon. Responsibilities: - Assist the groomer in bathing, brushing, and drying pets - Handle dogs and cats with care and ensure their safety during grooming procedures - Clean and maintain grooming tools and equipment - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area - Provide basic grooming services such as nail trims and ear cleaning - Assist with restraining animals during grooming procedures - Monitor pets for any signs of stress or discomfort and report any concerns to the groomer or veterinary staff - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and ensuring their satisfaction Requirements: - Previous experience in a veterinary clinic, kennel, or pet care facility is preferred but we are willing to train the right person. - Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners - Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments - Knowledge of basic pet grooming techniques and procedures is a plus - Comfortable with heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as some pets may require assistance during grooming - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as needed Please note we are a drug-free workplace.
