Octagon Construction & Energy Services, Inc. is a growing Maine-based reconstruction company, and we're looking for a Construction Operations Manager to lead our production team and take our construction division to the next level. This is a true leadership seat. You'll report directly to the General Manager and lead our Project Managers and Project Coordinators — owning schedules, budgets, quality, and the customer experience on every job we build. If you've run construction projects, led PMs, and are ready to run a division, we want to talk to you. What You'll Do Lead, coach, and develop a team of Project Managers and Project Coordinators. Own the project pipeline — scheduling, subcontractors, materials, and milestones from sold job to final walk-through. Drive budgets, margins, and job cost accuracy across the division. Set the bar for quality, safety, and job file documentation. Step in on escalations and keep customers, adjusters, and partners confident in our work. Partner with the General Manager on forecasting, capacity planning, and growth. What You Bring 5+ years in construction management, with 2+ years leading project managers or production teams. Residential/light commercial reconstruction experience; insurance restoration background strongly preferred. Comfort with budgets, job costing, WIP, and scheduling — you know your numbers. Xactimate and insurance claims familiarity is a big plus. A leadership style built on accountability, clear communication, and developing people.
