A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.Opportunity:/nRN - PCU/n/nJob Details:/n• 12-hour shifts with 1:5 patient ratios/n• 2 years of experience required with previous charge and teaching hospital experience preferred/n• 8 weekend shifts required in 6-week schedule period (combination of Friday/Saturday/Sunday)/n• Holiday shifts and charge RN assignments as needed per unit/n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS/n• Must float to all MSI units including ED to care for inpatient holds/n• 12 hours of orientation provided/n• Must have Kansas and Missouri nursing licenses or compact license/n• Epic charting system experience preferred/n• Guaranteed 3 shifts per 13-week contract/n• Maximum 7 days request time off/n• Extensive skills required including cardiac monitoring, IV therapy, telemetry, wound care, respiratory management, and emergency response/n• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations/n• 31-bed unit with daily census of 31 patients/n• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, and rapid response teams/n/nFacility:/nThis healthcare facility is part of a major health system operating a comprehensive medical campus that provides advanced patient care services.
