Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Gifted Integrative Speech Therapy (GIST) is a Private Pediatric Rehabilitation Practice that offers ST and OT currently. Unfortunately, we cannot accept COTAs in this setting. We are looking for committed and passionate individuals to join our team! The caseload is growing and help is needed. Flexible schedule. Positive and friendly work environment. Responsibilities: - Conduct assessments to evaluate the functional abilities and limitations of patients - Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals - Provide occupational therapy interventions to improve patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being - Help patients develop or regain skills for daily living and work activities - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care - Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary - Educate patients and their families on strategies for maximizing independence and managing conditions Experience: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy - Valid state license or certification as an Occupational Therapist - Previous experience in a similar role preferred - Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles, techniques, and equipment - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively in a team environment This is a great opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to make a difference in the lives of patients and contribute to their overall well-being.
