What you'll do:Do you want hands-on experience supporting the lifecycle of real products-from data accuracy and documentation to pricing and competitive insight?This position is an 8- or 12-week paid internship. In this role, you'll work alongside product managers to help keep our product information accurate and market-ready, support new product development (NPD/NPI) execution, and contribute analysis that informs pricing and portfolio decisions.You'll take ownership of defined product management actions and collaborate with cross-functional partners (engineering, operations, marketing, and sales/channel teams) to drive timely updates, improve data quality, and strengthen our understanding of the competitive landscape.Your career matters - and we're here to help make it happen. Are you ready?What You'll Do:Own datasheet and product portfolio updates, ensuring published information is accurate, complete, and aligned with current offerings.Prepare and submit ECNs (Engineering Change Notices) as needed, coordinating inputs and confirming the right stakeholders are engaged.Support PDH data maintenance by auditing product records, resolving gaps, and helping improve data integrity across systems.Conduct pricing analysis to understand the current pricing landscape across our customer base and channel partners, and summarize findings for the product team.Perform solution pricing analysis (bundles/configurations) to help quantify value positioning and identify opportunities for improved competitiveness.Support NPD/NPI project documentation by gathering required inputs, maintaining trackers, and ensuring required deliverables are completed on time.Contribute to competitive analysis by researching competitor offerings, positioning, and differentiators and consolidating insights for internal use.Complete segment analysis outside of Datacenter to help identify growth opportunities, customer needs, and priority use cases in adjacent markets.Qualifications:Basic (Required) Qualifications:Actively enrolled in a bachelor's degree program (or higher) in Business, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field at an accredited institutionMust have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above (please don't round).No relocation is offered for this role. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the Ellisville, MO site.Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc.Preferred Qualifications:Experience or coursework in pricing, market research, competitive analysis, or financial analysisFamiliarity with product lifecycle concepts (NPD/NPI), change control (ECN/ECO), and basic portfolio managementExperience working with product data in business systems (e.g., ERP, PIM, PLM, or similar) or maintaining structured datasetsExposure to analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and/or basic SQL is a plusStrong organizational skills and comfort using project tracking tools (e.g., Microsoft Planner, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar)Curiosity about customer segments and channels; ability to independently research and synthesize findingsSkills:Position Criteria:Strong analytical skills with the ability to structure data, identify trends, and summarize insights clearlyProficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, charts, basic formulas) and PowerPoint; comfort learning new systems/toolsExcellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate technical and commercial inputs into clear updates and documentationStrong attention to detail and comfort working with product data, documentation, and process-driven deliverablesAbility to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and coordinate effectively with cross-functional partners
