You will design, develop, modify and implement software programming for products, focusing on surpassing customers' expectations through high quality and on-time delivery. You will be responsible for ensuring the overall functional quality of released products on all required platforms and mechanisms. You will also create, document and execute software designs that may involve complex workflows or multiple product areas. While working with general supervision on complex projects, you will partner with senior engineers and exercise independent judgment when necessary.Projects will focus on:Testing Infrastructure DevelopmentUse HyperLynx software for development workExperience with C++ and object-oriented programmingBasic understanding of GUI development frameworks such as MFC or QtFollow Agile Software Development methodologyOrganization RequirementsCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's degree, or a first-year Master's student, in Computer ScienceC++ requiredExperience with software development on LinuxProficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Passionate, driven, and proactiveStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective organizational and time-management skillsDesire to continuously improve and learn about new areasExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsInspires collaborationCompensationThe hourly range for this position is $18.00 to $50.00. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
