Our client, a leading technology organization specializing in performance benchmarking and automation solutions, is seeking an Automation Engineer to join their team. As an Automation Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting CPU performance benchmarking initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Automation Engineer 3Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)Pay Range: $60-67/hrWhat's the Job?Design and develop automation systems and software to streamline CPU performance benchmarking processes. Translate manual benchmarking workflows into scalable, automated pipelines for efficiency and repeatability. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitHub for benchmark execution and infrastructure workflows. Automate infrastructure provisioning, OS deployment, and system configuration at scale, utilizing tools such as Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes. Monitor platform health, troubleshoot automation failures, and support performance engineers to ensure reliable benchmark runs. What's Needed?Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. Strong proficiency in Python and Linux shell scripting. Hands-on experience with Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems like GitHub. Solid understanding of Linux systems, OS tuning, and server environments.
