Responsibilities include comprehensive evaluations, diagnostic interpretation, treatment planning, and participation in surgical and procedural care.Ideal candidates will not only be skilled neurosurgeons familiar with a wide range of procedures, but also have exceptional communication skills, be highly compassionate and eager to join a cohesive and top-tier practice environment.Position Details:Full-time position with outstanding work/life balanceLow call volumes at 1:9Tight-knit family work environment with strong community tiesExperienced, driven and high-performing team of neurosurgeon professionalsAttentive and supportive leadership that focuses on physician long-term successExcellent earning/investment opportunitiesDuties and Responsibilities:Participate in neurosurgical care across a broad range of conditions, including cranial, spinal, vascular, peripheral nerve, and functional neurological disordersEvaluate all new patients, conducting focused neurosurgical histories and physical examsFormulate treatment plans, order appropriate imaging and perform in‐office proceduresManage postoperative and routine follow‐up visitsReview and act on radiographic and laboratory reports and manage prescription refillsAssist with or perform procedures such as craniotomies, spinal instrumentation, microscopic procedures, lumbar punctures, ventriculostomies, myelograms, and placement of traction or fixation devicesConduct daily rounds, including ICU patients; write orders, progress notes, and admission histories and physicalsOrder and interpret laboratory tests and imaging studies (e.g., MRI, CT, bone scans, myelograms)Assess clinical status, implement therapeutic plans for hospitalized patients, coordinate discharge planning and dictate discharge summariesThe duties and responsibilities outlined in this job description are intended to provide a general overview of the role and do not represent a comprehensive or exhaustive list.
