Job DescriptionPerform high-quality ultrasound scans (abdomen, OB/GYN, vascular, small parts, etc., based on certification)Operate ultrasound equipment safely and efficientlyCapture accurate images and ensure proper positioning of patientsAdjust settings and technical factors to optimize image qualityGreet, identify, and prepare patients for ultrasound proceduresExplain procedures clearly and address patient questions or concernsMaintain patient comfort, privacy, and dignity throughout the examFollow HIPAA guidelines for protecting patient informationReview and evaluate ultrasound images for clarity and diagnostic valueIdentify abnormalities and provide preliminary technical impressions (as permitted)Collaborate with radiologists and physicians regarding findingsAssist with portable and emergency imaging as needed
