Fully remote - Preferably located in Texas, must be in CST time zoneContract to hire*No C2C or Associate Vendors*Our client is seeking a Systems Analyst/Administrator to evaluate, optimize, and support business applications and technology ecosystem. This individual will serve as the bridge between business operations and technology, identifying opportunities for automation, process improvement, system integration, and workflow efficiency.The ideal candidate has experience working in tax, accounting, financial services, or fintech environments and understands how business systems, data, and processes interact across an organization. This role requires someone who can wear multiple hats—supporting day-to-day systems administration while also leading initiatives to streamline operations and improve the overall technology landscape.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate existing business applications, workflows, and processes to identify inefficiencies and automation opportunities.Partner with business leaders and end users to understand operational challenges and recommend technology-driven solutions.Analyze current-state processes and design future-state workflows that improve efficiency, accuracy, and user experience.Administer, configure, and support business systems, SaaS platforms, and enterprise applications.Identify integration opportunities between systems and work with vendors or developers to implement solutions.Lead system enhancement, automation, and optimization initiatives from concept through implementation.Create and maintain process maps, workflow diagrams, documentation, and standard operating procedures.Troubleshoot application issues, manage vendor relationships, and coordinate system upgrades or enhancements.Develop reporting and dashboard solutions that provide actionable business insights.Support user training, adoption efforts, and change management initiatives.Collaborate with IT, accounting, finance, operations, and leadership teams to align technology with business objectives.Required Qualifications5+ years of experience in Systems Analysis, Business Systems Analysis, Systems Administration, or a related role.Strong understanding of business process analysis, workflow optimization, and systems integration.Experience administering and supporting business applications and SaaS platforms.Ability to gather requirements, document processes, and translate business needs into technical solutions.Experience automating manual processes through workflow tools, integrations, or low-code platforms.Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Preferred QualificationsExperience in the tax, accounting, CPA, fintech, lending, banking, or financial services industries.Experience with platforms such as QuickBooks, Salesforce, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, ServiceNow, NetSuite, Intuit products, tax software, or financial systems.Knowledge of API integrations, ETL processes, or workflow automation tools.Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, UiPath, Zapier, Make, or similar automation platforms.Familiarity with SQL, reporting tools, data analysis, and dashboard development.Experience supporting digital transformation or business process improvement initiatives.Ideal Candidate ProfileNaturally curious and enjoys understanding how systems and processes work.Comfortable challenging existing processes and proposing better solutions.Strong business acumen with the ability to identify opportunities for efficiency and automation.Able to balance strategic improvement initiatives with day-to-day system support responsibilities.Thrives in environments undergoing technology modernization and process transformation.
