Together, we pursue a shared mission to create a more sustainable future.Job DescriptionJob Summary: Responsible for receiving materials into the warehouse, maintaining accurate and safe storage of inventory, properly issuing materials to internal customers, shipping materials using various methods, processing related records, reports, documents and files.Key Characteristics Detail Orientation.Strong organizational, written and oral skillsAccountableDuties & Responsibilities Review receiving documents for accuracy and completeness prior to accepting receipt of order from carrierAny major discrepancies, problems or concerns are reported to their supervisorIf required, contact requisitioning department/person for disposition instructionsReceive materials into inventory by recording receipt in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and physically placing into proper warehouse location. Forward receiving documents appropriately or receive the inventory into the ERP systemProcess outgoing materials by recording in ERP system and delivering to internal customersAssist in conducting physical inventoryMaintain clean, orderly, and safe warehouse and storage facilitiesNotify supervisor of all safety problems or concernsProvide assistance as needed in the shipping of materials and equipment to other service centers, job sites, etc.Prepare and maintain accurate and timely materials control records as requiredResolve routine receipt, storage, and issuing problems with assistance from supervisorPerform other duties as required to support the procurement and materials control process and management needsWork to control inventory levels, cycle time, machine loads, and other aspects as required to meet production schedulesQualificationsKnowledge, Skills & Abilities Education & Experience Required:High School Diploma, G.E.D, Homeschool Certification, or international equivalent to High School Diploma.Good working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SAPAble to left up to 50 lbsForklift certification or experiance driving a Forklift Preferred:Basic computer skills requiredAssociates Degree or some college course workStrong organizational, written and oral skillsOne year work-related experience preferredERP / Inventory control software experience desirableCooperative.Initiative.Customer Focus.Working Conditions Ability & willingness to handle repetitive weight - 50 lbsAbility & willingness to work in all weather conditionsAbility & willingness to work in range of environments to include but not limited to industrial facilities, manufacturing facilities, & power industry facilitiesAdditional InformationAt Veolia, we realize diverse teams make smarter decisions, deliver better results, and build stronger communities.
