Sales and Business Development Representative
Overview
Job Title: Sales and Business Development RepresentativeLocation: Houston, Texas
Summary:The Sales & Business Development Representative will have the responsibility of identifying and selling opportunities for all services related to Danos LLC in the general and specific geographical areas designated by the Danos Sales Manager. These activities will be performed in accordance with all Danos policies, guidelines, processes, and procedures as set forth by sales management.
Responsibilities
Sales Activity
Achieve or exceed assigned sales quota for overall account base and/or service category
Increase revenue with existing customers by selling them a product and/or service that they aren't currently buying
Meet or exceed personal goals that are set at the beginning of the fiscal year
Generate revenue with new customers, markets, and/or areas that align with strategic focus
Identify and develop new ideas for additional products or services that we can offer
"Assist" Operations with rate increases, submission of bid packages, presentations, etc.
Customer Activity
Develop new and cultivate existing business relationships
Work with the Sales Manager to identify customer functions and networking opportunities that align with overall objectives of the company
Inform existing and prospective customers of product changes/enhancements
Actively participate in industry conferences and follow up on lead generation
Connect Operations personnel with customer representatives when appropriate
Participate in Danos sponsored events where your customers are present
Communication
Work closely with Operations to ensure that appropriate personnel are abreast of customer/competitor activity, market intelligence, leads and general industry dynamics
Administrative Tasks
Successfully manage expenses within budget in the timeframes established by accounting
Effectively manage CRM platform as needed. Enter and update opportunity information and sales call activities, customer information, and provide market intelligence.
Submit weekly activity report via CRM platform
Professional and Personal Development
Participate in all continuing education/sales type training as decided upon by the Sales Manager
Qualifications

High school diploma, or equivalent required, Baccalaureate Degree preferred
Has solid interpersonal skills and could be successful building long-term relationships with customers
Excellent communication skills in front of customers.
In depth technical understanding of all Danos product lines, and the application to the Downstream market
Experience with Oil and Gas projects, inclusive of hookup and commissioning
Experience working with a diverse customer base, from major O&G companies to smaller independents to midstream companies
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Creative, deadline driven and works well under pressure in a high energy environment
Strong organization, prioritization, and time management skills with ability to multi-task
