The start date is ASAP for this 6-month contract-to-hire position.Job Title: Sr. Service EngineerLocation-Type: Remote (Must reside in CO, UT, MN, OKC, KC metro)Start Date Is: ASAPDuration: 6-month contract-to-hireCompensation Range: $50-75/hr W2Benefits: Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, 401KMust be authorized to work in the U.S. This position is not eligible for sponsorship .Job Description:Senior-level infrastructure engineer responsible for delivering, deploying, and supporting enterprise virtualization and storage solutions in a client-facing environment.Day-to-Day Responsibilities:Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot VMware ESXi and vCenter environmentsPerform lifecycle management, upgrades, and expansions of Dell VxRail clustersImplement and support Dell PowerStore storage solutions, including replication and DRManage Veeam Backup & Replication jobs, restores, and repositoriesConfigure and maintain Dell PowerEdge servers (iDRAC, firmware, lifecycle controller)Support networking components including VLANs, routing, switching, and firewallsLead infrastructure projects independently at customer sitesCommunicate with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholdersTravel to customer sites (25-50%) during active project phases Requirements:Must-Haves:5 years of experience delivering infrastructure engineering projectsStrong expertise with VMware (ESXi, vCenter, VCF, NSX preferred)Experience with Dell PowerStore (or equivalent enterprise storage)Hands-on experience with Dell VxRail and PowerEdge serversExperience with Veeam Backup & ReplicationSolid networking fundamentals (VLANs, routing, switching, firewall basics)Background in MSP, VAR, or consulting environmentsStrong communication skills and ability to work independentlyWillingness to obtain VMware certifications (VCP-VCF or VCAP-VCF) Nice-to-Haves:Experience with Nutanix (AHV/AOS, Prism)Hyper-V deployment and migration experienceAzure IaaS and Microsoft 365 administrationCross-platform migration experience (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, Azure)Dell certifications (PowerStore, PowerEdge, VxRail)Experience with co-managed or recurring services models
