Lead Analyst, IT Asset Management

If you're ready to take your career to the next level and gain valuable experience, apply today!The Lead Analyst, IT Business Service will act as a liaison between the business and the entire IT dept. to implement and support projects and communications. Responsibilities include evaluating project communication needs, creating detailed communication plans based on needs for the project, performing detailed business analysis, documenting business and functional requirements, and resolving project issues.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze business requirements for IT Asset Management and Procurement.Lead IT contract renewals and assist in IT budgeting.Point of contact and subject matter expert for software discovery tools, databases, and records.Manage licenses across multiple publishers and agreements.Conduct research to assist with purchases and contract requirements.Liaise with vendors, negotiate, and ensure contracts meet business requirements.Communicate and track technical and pricing updates such as discounts, software EOL dates, updates, and renewals.Perform software rationalization, review current solutions with stakeholders and assist in determining the best-suited technology to meet business requirements.Lead internal audits to verify compliance and lead any potential remediation efforts. Assist with external software audits.Manage software licensing portals for license assignments.Create and maintain process documentation.Assist in improving software standards and protocols with supporting teams.Lead team analysts and administrators in solving both day-to-day and complex tasks assuring that duties assigned to the team are completed on schedule.Mentor and train new team members.Required5-7 years of related experience in Software Asset Management, IT procurement, or IT Vendor Management in a corporate setting.BA/BS in Communications, Business, Information Technology.
