This position must also adhere to our safety program and work as a contributing member of the team.Responsibilities :Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followedBe cognizant of and adhere to safety requirementsParticipate in all safety meetingsShoveling, sweeping, and monitoringMust be familiar with operating and servicing small equipmentMust understand or have familiarity with all power and small toolsConduct pre-operation checks on equipmentClean, lubricate and fuel all equipment and general site housekeepingEnsure safety fences, markings, berms are all in placeNotify supervisor and/or maintenance of any required work to be donePerforms other related duties as requiredOther Requirements : High School Diploma or GED requiredMental and Physical Requirements : Able to read, speak and write EnglishAble to work under stressful conditions at timesWork performed in a plant environmentExposure to inclement weather as most work will be performed outsideRegularly required to lift, carry, push, and pull 50 lbs. or moreFrequently required to walk on unleveled groundStrong work ethics of integrity and honesty striving for excellence in all activities employing accompanying communicationDependability, reliability, fulfilling responsibilitiesUsing hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials and manipulating thingsAble to wear common protective or safety equipment such as safety shoes, glasses, gloves, hearing protection and hard hats when neededRegularly required to sit or stand, reach, and move about the facilityMay be sensitive to confidential informationMust work independently and as a member of a teamThis job description should not be interpreted as an exhaustive list of responsibilities or as an employment agreement between the employer and employee.
