This role is critical to supporting PADNOS’s growth and ensuring we attract and retain top talent in these essential areas. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and passionate about connecting skilled professionals with a company that values their contributions. You will play a key role in maintaining our high standards of service excellence by recruiting individuals who share our commitment to sustainability and innovation. Key Responsibilities: Develop Recruitment Strategies: Design and implement targeted recruitment strategies to attract qualified Skilled Trades professionals and Truck Drivers for current and future openings. Candidate Sourcing: Utilize various sourcing methods, including online job boards, social media platforms, networking events, and industry-specific channels to identify and engage with potential candidates. Screening and Selection: Conduct initial screenings to assess candidates for cultural and technical fit, ensuring that they meet both the job requirements and PADNOS’s high standards. Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and ensure a smooth recruitment process. Career Fairs and Networking: Represent PADNOS at industry-specific career fairs, networking events, and other recruiting venues to build a pipeline of qualified candidates. Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the ATS to ensure efficient tracking of candidates and compliance with company policies. Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive candidate experience by managing the recruitment process efficiently, providing timely updates, and facilitating seamless onboarding. Market Research: Stay informed on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and best practices in recruiting Skilled Trades and Truck Drivers to keep PADNOS competitive in the job market. Negotiation and Offers: Handle the negotiation process with candidates, crafting competitive job offers that align with both company standards and candidate expectations. Collaboration: Work closely with other recruiters and HR team members to share insights, strategies, and resources that enhance the overall recruitment process. Qualifications: 3-5 years of professional experience in recruiting, with a focus on Skilled Trades and/or Truck Drivers. Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred. Strong understanding of sourcing techniques, including the use of job boards, social media, and industry-specific networks. Proven ability to manage high volumes of recruitment in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both candidates and internal stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with multiple ATS systems; experience with Dayforce is a plus. PHR or SPHR certification is a plus, but not required. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. A high sense of urgency and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
