Garfield, Midland, TXJob Summary - Assist with planning, coordination, and execution of campus events and activities. This role is ideal for a motivated student looking to gain experience in event management and community engagement.Required Qualifications - Must be a currently enrolled student and registered for classes. Must meet all Work Study eligibility requirements through the Financial Aid Office. Basic computer skills. Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Essential Functions - Serves as point of contact for students seeking information about activities. Help create and post promotional materials, including flyers, social media posts, and announcements. Office and clerical tasks. Make copies. Filing. Other duties as assigned.Physical Demands - Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time. The person in this position needs to move to other locations on campus occasionally. Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation. Use of manual dexterity. The person in this position frequently communicates with others; must be able to exchange accurate information. Frequently moves equipment or paperwork weighing up to 35 pounds. Occasionally moves chairs or other movable furniture to set up for events. Duties indoors and some outdoors.
