Job Title: Manufacturing Technician (Assembly)Location: Vista, CA 92081 (Onsite – Must be local)Pay Rate: $22–$24/hour (based on experience)Duration: 6-Month Contract (Excellent potential for extension or permanent conversion)Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (potential overtime with notice)About the RoleWe are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Technician I to join the Production Operations team. This role focuses on building and assembling precision equipment from the ground up, requiring strong attention to detail, the ability to follow written instructions, and comfort working in a repetitive, quality-driven environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with tools, building things, and wants to grow into a long-term role within manufacturing.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform electro-mechanical assembly and sub-assembly builds using hand toolsFollow written procedures (SOPs) to complete step-by-step assembly processesAssemble components including cable routing, wiring, and mechanical partsConduct visual and functional quality checks to ensure product accuracyAccurately document work, including serial numbers and build data in ExcelMaintain quality, safety, and 5S standards on the production floorIdentify and escalate build, quality, or process issues when neededSupport installation and basic configuration of systems as requiredRequired Qualifications (MUST HAVES)High School Diploma or GED1+ year of assembly, manufacturing, warehouse or production experienceExperience using tools and building/assembling things (professional or personal)Hands-on – you like to work with your hands and enjoy “building and putting things togetherCan follow written instructions and SOPs step-by-stepComfortable performing repetitive work daily – doing same thing every day (assembly line-style environment)Basic computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel)Ability to use Excel for basic data entry (e.g., tracking serial numbers)Strong understanding of quality, safety, and attention to detailStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to learn quickly and follow direction closelyAbility to lift up to 25 lbs.Must pass standard background check and drug testBonus – But not requiredExperience with electro-mechanical assembly, wiring, or cable routingBackground in medical device or regulated manufacturing environmentsAdditional InformationFully onsite role in Vista, CAInterview process: Virtual interview (camera on) → Onsite final (30 minutes)Opportunity for long-term growth and permanent conversion based on performanceTCWGlobal is an equal opportunity employer.
