Illinois Licensed Legal Counsel

A company is looking for a Legal Counsel with extensive legal experience to provide strategic support across various legal matters. Key Responsibilities Provide proactive legal advice on corporate, commercial, regulatory, and compliance matters Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts and lead small to mid-level M&A transactions Develop and implement legal policies, manage outside counsel, and mentor Associate Legal Counsel Required Qualifications Juris Doctor degree from a fully accredited U.S. law school License to practice law in the state of Illinois At least 6 years of post-Juris Doctor legal experience, ideally with both law firm and in-house exposure Demonstrated experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts Proven ability to provide legal advice on a broad spectrum of corporate and regulatory matters
