Director Business Development Relocation - US Based Remote
Job Title: Business Development – Sales (Northeast US & Canada Territory)OverviewWe’re seeking a motivated and results-driven sales professional with proven experience in the relocation industry. This is a remote position responsible for driving new business across the Northeast U.S. and Canada territory, with moderate travel requirements (20–30%).Key Responsibilities- Territory Strategy & Prospecting: Develop and execute a strategic plan to identify and engage prospective clients within the assigned region.- Lead Nurturing: Build strong relationships with prospects, assess business fit, and guide them through the sales cycle.- Pricing & Profitability: Create competitive pricing strategies that align with company profitability goals.- Proposal Development: Lead RFP responses in collaboration with technical writers and subject matter experts.- Sales Presentations: Participate in client presentations, coordinate dry runs, and communicate win strategies.- Contract Negotiation: Drive contract negotiations with support from the legal team.- Client Onboarding: Ensure a seamless transition by partnering with client services and implementation teams.- Special Projects: Manage strategic initiatives, trade conferences, and other projects as needed.Leadership & Representation- Represent the Sales team at industry events and conferences, leveraging supplier relationships and hosting company-sponsored events.- Foster strong internal and external partnerships to deliver innovative solutions and exceed client expectations.Qualifications- Ability to travel 20–30%.- Minimum 2 years of successful experience selling outsourced services to multinational companies.- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.- Strong presentation and networking skills (in-person and virtual).- Expertise in new business development and consultative selling, including crafting tailored value propositions.- Demonstrated ability to build and manage a robust pipeline, understanding client needs and pain points.- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
