If you are a talented, passionate clinician looking to make a real difference in the recovery community, the Avenues family warmly welcomes you!What You'll DoEngage directly with clients, developing relationships and securing commitment to treatmentConduct client crisis interventions as needed to prevent their leaving treatment AMAFacilitate group occasionally to maintain understanding of community needs and challengesCollaborate with, direct and train client support staff in crisis intervention and safe supervisionRecord all client interactions, reports, observations, and interventions in client chartsWhat We're Looking ForHigh School Diploma or GED required1+ year experience in addiction treatment, behavioral health, or a similar client-facing role preferredStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and engage clients in treatmentAbility to manage difficult situations and provide crisis intervention when neededStrong communication and documentation skills, proficient with Microsoft 365 programsIf in recovery, minimum 1 year of sustained sobriety requiredWhere You'll WorkAvenues Recovery Center at Eastern Shore is a 100-bed residential facility which offers inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation services.
