Medical Assistant
(1) As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing support to ensure efficient operation in our procedure department. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care during procedures.
(2) As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing support to ensure efficient operation in the clinical department of our office. You will support providers by rooming patients, getting vitals, preparing chart notes, etc.
Prepare visit notes and scribe for provider
Assist during medical procedures by circulating to each procedure with provider
Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
Phlebotomy
Transport patients in wheelchairs upon discharge
Collect and record vital signs
Admit/Discharge patients
Rooming patients
Skills
Proven working experience as a medical assistant
Knowledge of medical office
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and planning skills
Pain management experience a plus
