IT/OT Systems Administrator

This role focuses on supporting and integrating enterprise IT systems with operational technologies, ensuring systems are secure, reliable, and aligned with broader infrastructure standards. You will work within established architectures, helping to deploy, support, and maintain IT/OT solutions across multiple client environments.You will:Support server, virtualization, and identity services (Active Directory) in environments connected to manufacturing operationsSupport and maintain IT/OT network environments, including plant networks and enterprise-connected infrastructureDeploy and support secure remote access solutions for operational systemsPerform system upgrades, patching, and lifecycle support across IT and OT infrastructureTroubleshoot and resolve cross-domain issues spanning network, server, and industrial systemsAssist with network and infrastructure assessments, documentation, and remediation effortsWork with internal teams and clients to support project implementations and ongoing operationsHave an understanding of security frameworksBe an ambassador who embodies our Core Values, prioritizing the success of E Tech Group, our clients, and the professional development of our associates. You have:3–5 years of experience in IT, OT, or industrial environmentsWorking knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Server, and virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V)Experience working in or supporting enterprise environments (multi-site infrastructure, standardized systems, or regulated industries)Hands-on experience with network infrastructure (Cisco preferred), including switching, routing, and VLANsExperience with firewalls and VPN technologies (Palo Alto, Fortinet, or similar)Ability to troubleshoot issues across network, server, and industrial layersStrong communication and documentation skillsAbility to travel approximately 25%A DNA comprised of collaboration and teamwork. You may have:Experience supporting environments aligned to CPwE or Purdue Model conceptsExposure to industrial control systems (Rockwell, Siemens, etc.) and how they interface with IT systemsBackground in manufacturing, food & beverage, or pharmaceutical environmentsExposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) in support of enterprise-connected systemsFamiliarity with industrial cybersecurity practices and toolsCertifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Security+, or equivalentBenefits & Perks:401k + match + prompt enrollment.  E Tech Group employees are 100% vested upon entry.
