This is a hands-on R&D role focused on product formulation, lab experimentation, and commercialization.If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects, and bringing new food products to life this role is for you.Must-Have QualificationsBachelor s degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, Meat Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field3 4 years of real-world product development experience (non-entry level)Strong benchtop formulation skills (critical for success in the first 90 days)Hands-on experience with bench experiments, prototype development, and analytical testingAbility to manage multiple projects with minimal supervisionStrong problem-solving, communication, and critical thinking skillsMust be available to work onsite Monday FridayWillingness to travel up to 15% (reimbursed)Nice-to-Have Skills Experience in product developmentBackground in:Condiments & saucesSoupsMac & cheeseExposure to foodservice / AFH categoriesExperience with sensory testing, shelf-life studies, or nutritional analysisAdaptability across different product types or R&D environments Key ResponsibilitiesConduct bench-top experiments and analytical testingDevelop and evaluate products for flavor, texture, shelf-life, and quality standardsSupport product development and commercialization initiativesCollaborate cross-functionally with Packaging, Quality, Operations, Marketing, and SalesLead activities like prototype development, feasibility studies, costing, and factory trialsDevelop recipes, documentation, and support initial productionWhat We re Looking ForA self-starter with a passion for learningStrong understanding of Design of Experiments (DOE)Ability to handle multiple priorities and work collaboratively
