Authorization Representative

Duration: 3+ Months contractJob Description:Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)Must have 2 years of experience with authorizations on resumeThis position will primarily handle submitting authorizations for Orthopedic procedures/surgeries - must have previous experience with authorizations on resumeResponsibilities:• Primary point of contact for patient relations in person and by phone• Greet patients and assist in resolving patient concerns and escalating as appropriate• Check patients in/out and collect co-payments, give receipts, and reconcile payments• Verify patient demographics and insurance information in CS-Link/Epic• Schedule appointments and complete patient registration• Process and track referrals and authorizations for various insurance types• Handle patient/provider correspondence• Explains polices, procedures, or services to patients• Sanitize workspace using provided supplies and following department guidelinesExperience:HSD/GEDFlu vaccinations (no declinations/no exemptions)Experience with Work Comp claims2 years of experience with CPT Codes and orthopedic surgery/procedure authorizations; familiar with ICD 10 and CPT codes with experience submitting authorizations.1 year of recent experience working in an outpatient clinic or medical office settingAbility to read, understand, and respond to detailed oral and written instructionsExperience with CS-Link/EPICSkills:EPICEducation:High School Diploma/GEDAbout US Tech Solutions:US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions.
