Sr. Mgr, Product Mgmt - Tech , Kids+

DescriptionThe Amazon Kids+ team builds innovative products and services for children ages 3-12 and their caregivers across Amazon Fire Tablets, Fire TV, Echo devices, and Kindle. We are seeking a seasoned product and business leader to join our Kids+ team. In this role, you will lead the team that defines and builds the Amazon Kids+ service as a product, owning the strategy for experiences, value proposition, and growth.You will be responsible for establishing long-term vision and strategy for critical growth areas of our subscription service, with a strong focus on customer acquisition, retention, and business planning. You will partner closely with science & tech leaders and software engineers to build innovative, customer-facing features that will scale and optimize growth in order to reach more families. You will also work closely with and influence marketing teams and finance to bring your vision & strategy to life.Our ideal candidate will have deep product management experience in consumer services - preferably subscriptions - data analytics expertise, ability to influence technical product investments, strong track record working with AI/ML, business intelligence, and the right balance between innovative thinking and delivering viable, customer-facing solutions that reinforce Kids+'s position as a leading service for families.Key job responsibilitiesStrategy & GrowthOwn and drive the overall Kids+ strategy and feature roadmap across all devices and geographies, including portfolio strategy to drive purchase intent and retentionDrive growth through data-informed customer acquisition strategies, partnering with marketing teams to optimize conversion funnels and retention programs across all customer touchpointsEstablish and drive the vision for core acquisition channels, leveraging business intelligence and data analytics to inform product and marketing decisionsPartner with marketing teams to align product features with customer acquisition and retention strategiesDrive data-informed decision making through engagement metrics, performance analytics, business economics, and cost analysisProduct Leadership & Team ManagementLead a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a world-class experience to Kids+ customersLead development of feature PRFAQs, gap analysis, and Business Requirements DocumentsCollaborate with finance teams to model business economics and optimize unit economicsCross-Functional Partnership & ExecutionDrive development of globally scalable products while enabling market-specific customization where necessaryLead your team to deliver excellent single-device experiences while creating magical cross-device interactionsWork closely with Device PMs to influence platform capabilities and drive Kids+ requirementsBasic Qualifications6+ years of team management experienceBachelor's degreeExperience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definitionExperience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a productPreferred Qualifications* Experience delivering consumer software products and services in a high growth environmentAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
