Robbins Middle School is seeking a Math Interventionist Teaching Position (1.0 FTE) beginning August 2026.Must hold or be eligible for a CT State Teaching Certification in Math (029 preferred)The Farmington Public School District is seeking an outstanding educator for the position of Math Interventionist. Farmington is a suburban Hartford community with a strong record of educational excellence.General Description:Interventionists have current and extensive training in diagnosing and addressing learning needs. In close collaboration with instructional specialists, the Interventionist accelerates learning for students not yet meeting standards using research-based, highly effective and responsive instruction. The Interventionist also communicates regularly with classroom teachers and paraprofessionals to ensure that emerging skills and strategies are evident in grade level content, promoting accelerated progress. Using assessment and observation data, the Interventionist monitors and evaluates student progress, responding to the individual academic needs of diverse learners to ensure high levels of achievement.
