DescriptionOverview of the Role:The Business Development Representative (BDR) role is part of our Sales Development Organization — the engine behind new business growth at Salesforce, the #1 AI CRM. We are looking for a motivated BDR to partner with our outbound sales teams, drive pipeline through strategic prospecting, and launch a high-impact sales career at a company leading the agentic era.ResponsibilitiesGenerate new business pipeline through outbound prospecting and cold calling across existing Salesforce customers and net new logos in an assigned territoryPartner with account teams to identify and source pipeline by researching lines of business, personas, and key decision makersManage and nurture inbound leads and early-stage opportunities driven by outbound effortsParticipate in an intensive sales training program designed to build the foundational skills needed for a long-term career in salesRequired QualificationsExperience with outbound prospecting, cold calling, and account research across a mix of new and existing accountsStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage decision makers at multiple levelsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while managing multiple prioritiesConsistent track record of meeting or exceeding goals and metricsPreferred Qualifications1–2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related fieldExperience with account planning and working a hybrid list of net-new and existing install accountsFamiliarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) toolsUnleash Your PotentialWhen you join Salesforce, you’ll be limitless in all areas of your life. In California and New York, and select cities in the metropolitan areas of Boston, Chicago, Seattle, and Washington DC, the base pay range for this role in those locations is $55,640 - $74,490 per year.
