Reliability Engineer
Reliability Engineer - Heavy Manufacturing A global industrial manufacturing organization is seeking a Reliability Engineer to support operations in a large-scale production environment. This role is responsible for driving improvements in equipment reliability, maintenance effectiveness, and overall plant performance.The Reliability Engineer will play a key role in identifying and eliminating recurring equipment issues, improving uptime, and optimizing maintenance strategies across the facility. This position partners closely with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to implement data-driven solutions that enhance safety, efficiency, and cost performance.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement reliability and maintenance strategies to improve asset performance and reduce downtimeLead root cause analysis efforts for equipment failures and implement long-term corrective actionsAnalyze maintenance and production data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvementDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, cost reduction, and operational efficiencyMonitor performance metrics and KPIs to proactively address reliability risksSupport capital projects and new equipment installations by ensuring reliability considerations are built into design and executionEnhance preventive and predictive maintenance programs, including use of condition monitoring toolsCollaborate cross-functionally with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to implement solutionsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience in an industrial environmentSeveral years of experience in reliability, maintenance, or manufacturing engineeringStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills with experience in root cause analysis methodologiesFamiliarity with reliability tools such as RCM, FMEA, or similar frameworksExperience with predictive maintenance technologies such as vibration analysis or thermal imaging preferredAbility to work in a fast-paced, plant-based environment and influence across teams
