Senior Inspector The following describes in general terms the purpose and scope of the position. To ensure product compliance to all engineering drawings, specifications, procedures and customer purchase order requirements. Performs inspection functions associated with machined parts and assemblies per written inspection instructions and/or supervision direction. Who are we? Must have a thorough understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.Read and understand internal and customer specifications.Utilize all common precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, height gages, as well as thickness & surface finish test instruments.Perform and document first article inspections and results.Ability to accurately utilize standard shop math such as addition, subtraction, division, multiplication and trigonometry in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.Ability to properly document non-conforming conditions utilizing the non-conformance system.Ability to prepare product documentation packages and certifications.Required Experience And EducationH.S. Diploma or GEDMinimum 10 years of aerospace quality assurance and/or aerospace manufacturing experience.
