The successful candidate will be responsible for building and overseeing the company's privacy programs, policies, and processes, and will serve as a privacy evangelist to foster a culture of privacy. This role involves driving the development of privacy-centric features, leading privacy due diligence on growth opportunities, and representing the company before data protection regulators and industry groups. The Chief Privacy Officer will also be expected to lead a team, provide privacy counseling, and engage with external partners to drive customer-focused privacy programs.Applicants for the Chief Privacy Officer position at the company should have a JD from a leading law school, at least 15 years of relevant privacy experience, and a strong background in SaaS, internet, or consumer spaces.
