The Paraprofessional will provide support to students with special needs, assisting in academic, social, and daily living activities. Responsibilities include working closely with teachers and staff to implement individualized education programs (IEPs), supervising students during class and activities, and promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment. Additional tasks may include preparing instructional materials and supporting students in achieving their developmental goals.QualificationsDemonstrated experience or willingness to work with children with special needs.Skills in communication, patience, empathy, and adaptability.Basic knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) is preferred but not required.Organizational skills and the ability to maintain a structured and engaging learning environment.Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, and other team members.High school diploma or equivalent; further education in special education, child development, or a related field is a plus.Commitment to supporting an inclusive and respectful educational experience for all students.
