This role focuses on network-to-code, infrastructure automation, and application modernization in a hybrid environment. This position is ideal for someone who is hands-on with Python-driven automation, understands enterprise networking at scale, and has experience automating network, firewall, and load-balancing platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain network-to-code automation using Nautobot as the Source of TruthAutomate network builds and lifecycle management using Python, Ansible, and TerraformEngineer and automate Cisco and Arista routing and switching environmentsAutomate and manage enterprise security platforms:Check Point FirewallsPalo Alto FirewallsEngineer and automate F5 BIG-IP load balancingSupport on-prem to Azure hybrid networking and connectivityPartner with application teams to retrofit and modernize legacy applicationsEstablish automation standards, documentation, and Git-based workflowsRequired Qualifications7+ years of experience in enterprise networking or infrastructure engineeringStrong hands-on experience with network automation / infrastructure as codeProficiency in:PythonAnsibleTerraformExperience with Cisco and Arista network platformsExperience supporting or automating:Firewalls (Check Point, Palo Alto)Load balancers (F5 BIG-IP)Experience working in on-prem enterprise environmentsFamiliarity with hybrid cloud networking and Microsoft Azure integrationNice to HaveNautobot Jobs and data modeling experienceCI/CD pipelines for infrastructure automationAzure networking (ExpressRoute, VPN, hybrid design)Experience in large enterprise or regulated environmentsOpen-source or GitHub automation projectsWhy Join UsReal network-to-code adoption (not just buzzwords)Ownership of automation design and architectureEnterprise-scale environment with modern toolingLong-term hybrid cloud and modernization initiativeJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Bridgeport, CT.Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $44.99 - $74.98/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
