Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Job Title: Educational Diagnostician – Elementary (Full-Time)Location: Cypress, TX Job Type: Full-Time, Contract (2026–2027 School Year)Schedule: 40 Hours per Week | Monday–FridayJob Overview:We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Educational Diagnostician with a few years of experience in the field, to join a school district in Cypress, TX. This full-time role will focus primarily on elementary aged students, supporting special education services through comprehensive evaluations and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for elementary studentsInterpret assessment data to determine eligibility for special education servicesDevelop clear, compliant evaluation reports and recommendationsParticipate in and help facilitate ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetingsCollaborate with teachers, school psychologists, speech-language pathologists, and other support staffEnsure compliance with federal, state, and district special education guidelinesMaintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations and student progressProvide guidance to staff and families regarding evaluation results and educational planningSupport the implementation of appropriate instructional strategies and accommodationsQualifications & Requirements:Active Texas Educational Diagnostician Certification (Required)Master's degree in Special Education, Educational Psychology, or related fieldPrevious experience working with elementary aged students preferredStrong knowledge of special education laws, procedures, and compliance standards (IDEA, TEA)Experience conducting ARD meetings and evaluations (there are ARD specialists on most campuses) Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skillsCompensation & Benefits:Competitive hourly pay (based on experience)Full-time guaranteed hours (40 per week)Supportive district and collaborative team environmentOpportunity to work in one of the largest and well-established school districts in TexasWhy Join Us?This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic school environment where your expertise directly impacts student success.
