A hospital-based facility in Michigan is seeking a Board-Certified Neurosurgeon for locum coverage to provide 24-hour call, inpatient rounding, and admissions. The physician must be comfortable performing both spinal and cranial procedures. Assignment Details Coverage Type: 24-hour call (8:00 AM 8:00 AM)Setting: Hospital-basedScope: Emergent call, emergent surgeries, daily inpatient roundingPatient Volume: Approx. 5 10 inpatients per dayEMR: Cerner Open Coverage Blocks 01/26 02/202602/26 02/202604/17 27/2026 Facility Support Imaging, lab, procedure rooms, and OR all on siteNeurosurgery APPs in clinicAdditional spine support available Travel & Expenses Flight, car, fuel, mileage, and hotel coveredHotel cap: $150/night (including taxes)No reimbursement for Med Staff FeesNo lodging booked through third-party sitesFacility is tax-exempt; lodging taxes not reimbursedReverse invoicing via Doctime (no paper timesheets) Submission Requirements (Required No Exceptions) Board Certified Neurosurgeon (no BE)ACLSActive Michigan license (IMLC accepted with 100% clean background)Clean background (minimum malpractice acceptable)Fellowship completed with 2 3+ years of experienceMust perform both spinal and cranial procedures
