Senior Full Stack Java Engineer
Overview:
In this Sr Engineer role, you will design and deliver large-scale, high-quality systems that span product domains. You will coach junior engineers and drive improvements in craftsmanship, reliability, and security in collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will anticipate scaling, latency, and durability needs while reducing technical debt and promoting reusable solutions. This position offers impact through shaping architectures, leading prototypes, and guiding delivery practices to enable fast, secure growth. Responsibilities:
- Write, test, and document technical work products following standards
- Solve complex technical problems and build components with broad impact
- Coach junior engineers on technical craftsmanship and delivery quality
- Perform root cause analysis and lead corrective actions
- Design integrated systems that enable cross-team value delivery
- Manage technical debt and drive elimination strategies
- Anticipate scaling and latency challenges; guide mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with security to embed security practices early in lifecycle
- Assess technical risks and define prevention strategies
- Improve squad delivery practices and promote reuse across teams
- Explore emerging technologies; prototype and integrate into architectures
- Develop SRE solutions, application development, and SRE support activities
- Maintain focus on removing duplication of effort and enabling cross-team reuse
- Key requirements5 to 7+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale production solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Full stack capabilities and AI experience
- Java with Spring backendAngular or React frontend
- Experience with messaging frameworks
- Strong problem solving and systems thinking
- Ability to work on-site 3x per week (CTH contract)
