Job Title: Registered Nurse (Med Surg) Location: Las Cruces , NM Employment Type: Full-Time Openings: 1 We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (Med Surg) to join our healthcare team in Las Cruces, NM. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, support recovery, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a Medical-Surgical unit Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans Monitor patient conditions and report changes to physicians Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately Maintain detailed and accurate patient records Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and healthcare staff Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards Must-Have Qualifications Active RN License in the state of New Mexico Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required) ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required within 6 months of hire Nice-To-Have Qualifications 1+ year of Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) experience 1+ year of overall nursing experience Required Skills Strong clinical and patient care skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills Team-oriented mindset with attention to detail Education & Certification Associate Degree in Nursing (required) Active RN License (New Mexico) BLS Certification (required) ACLS, PALS, TNCC (within 6 months of hire) Work Environment Hospital / Acute Care setting Fast-paced Medical-Surgical unit Collaborative team environment
