Energy Completion Services, LLC (ECS) provides onshore wireline pressure control equipment for the oil & gas industry. ECS is centrally located, supplying the safest and most dependable equipment needed. As the nation’s largest supplier of hydraulic latch assemblies (HLAs), as well as our wireline equipment offering, the company has worked with the top oil & gas operators across nearly every shale basin.
We are seeking a motivated, qualified individual to join our company as a CDL Driver who will be responsible for transporting equipment to and from the shop and customer job sites safely and efficiently. This role is essential to our operations, ensuring timely delivery and pickup of equipment to meet customer demands. All work will be performed in accordance with applicable guidelines, DOT, and Company safety procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities
Safely operate a tractor trailer or similar vehicles with trailers to transport equipment to and from customers job sites
Assist with loading and unloading equipment at the shop and customer job sites
On occasion, overnight travel may be required to exchange trailers or equipment
Ensure surface conditions are acceptable and clear according to company guidelines prior to unloading
Perform pre and post trips to ensure mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in operational condition
Maintain open communication with team members, leadership, and customers
Maintain electronic logs (ELD) of working hours and of vehicle service or repair status in compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations
Report any vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles
Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required
Follow safe operating practices, including lock out/ tag out procedures to ensure proper operation of the truck
Adherence to all DOT, OSHA, and FMCSA regulations and standards
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
Must be 21 years of age or older
Valid Class A CDL with air brake endorsement
Ability to obtain a DOT physical from a Company approved provider
Minimum of one (1) year of commercial truck driving experience
Experience operating a standard transmission on a commercial truck
Must be able to meet criteria for safety sensitive functions according to Company standards
Knowledge, Skill, & Abilities
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Ability to operate and maneuver heavy equipment safely
Basic mechanical skills for minor vehicle and equipment maintenance
Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
Ability to communicate effectively with team members, leadership, and customers
Ability to read, write, and comprehend associated documents and maps
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
Ability to follow all company safety policies and procedures
Ability to maintain awareness and recognize safety hazards
Flexibility to work varying hours and schedules, including overtime and weekends as job demands
Ability to work in outdoor elements, unpleasant odors, exposure to fumes, and extreme weather conditions – heat, cold, etc.
Physical stamina required for position and the ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
