Commercial Electrician (5+ years commercial experience) Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and dependable Commercial Electrician to join our growing team in the Kansas City Metro area. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of commercial electrical experience and the ability to work independently on commercial construction, tenant finish, remodel, and service projects. Candidates should be safety-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining a professional attitude on job sites. ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial electrical systemsRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawingsInstall conduit, wire, panels, lighting, devices, and electrical equipmentPerform electrical rough-in and finish workTroubleshoot and repair electrical issues efficientlyEnsure all work complies with NEC codes and local regulationsCoordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other tradesMaintain a clean and safe work environmentComplete work orders, job documentation, and material tracking as requiredMentor apprentices and assist with on-the-job training when neededOperate power tools, lifts, and jobsite equipment safely RequirementsMinimum 5 years of commercial electrical experienceAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong understanding of commercial electrical systems and NEC codeExperience with conduit bending and installationAbility to read blueprints and electrical schematicsValid driver's license with acceptable driving recordReliable transportation to and from job sitesAbility to lift 50+ pounds and work in varying job-site conditionsOSHA 10 certification preferredJourneyman license preferred but not requiredExperience with tenant finish, remodel, service, or new construction projects preferred Compensation & BenefitsAnnual pay range: $28 - $40 per hour (depending on experience)401(k) with employer contribution401(k) profit sharingMedical insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceLife insurancePaid sick timePaid vacation timeSteady, year-round workOpportunities for advancement and ongoing training ScheduleMonday - FridayTypical start time between 6:00 AM - 7:00 AM
