Elevator Apprentice

All-Ways Elevator, Inc. is a locally owned and operated, full-service elevator company specializing in commercial and residential installations, modernization, maintenance, and repairs. We are currently seeking an Apprentice to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the elevator industry. You’ll work hands-on alongside experienced mechanics, gaining real-world training while contributing to meaningful projects. WHO WILL LOVE THIS JOB Someone who enjoys hands-on work and learning a skilled trade A dependable team player who shows up on time and ready to work A safety-first professional who follows best practices on job sites A self-motivated learner eager to develop technical skills Someone seeking a long-term career path WHAT YOU’LL DO Maintain work sites according to industry safety standards Assist mechanics with daily tasks and project work Maintain and organize tools and equipment on job sites and in service vehicles Track and maintain inventory and supplies needed to perform work Keep job sites and service vehicles clean and organized Complete CET training and continuing education courses Communicate effectively with mechanics, supervisors, and office staff Travel to job sites throughout Long Island, NYC, and New Jersey Perform additional tasks as assigned YOU SHOULD HAVE Minimum 1 year of elevator industry experience Valid driver’s license with clean driving record OSHA 30 certification Knowledge of hand and power tools Ability to lift and carry 70+ pounds Strong communication skills and familiarity with elevator technology Reliable and punctual work habits WHY ALL-WAYS ELEVATOR Health insurance 401 (k) Retirement plan Paid time off and holidays Competitive pay of $20 - $22 per hour based upon experience Ongoing training and career development Stable employment with a growing company ALL-WAYS ELEVATOR MISSION AND CORE VALUES All-Ways Elevator services, modernizes and installs residential and commercial vertical transportation equipment 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, providing unmatched customer experience.
