Remote Distribution Design Designer/Engineer

Job Title: Remote Distribution Designer/EngineerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Distribution Designer/Engineer with over 3 years of experience in Power Delivery. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience utilizing DDS software and working on resiliency programs, including unit counts, pole replacements, overhead to underground conversions, and pole relocations.Responsibilities+ Utilize DDS software for engineering and design tasks.+ Work on resiliency programs, including unit counts, pole replacements, overhead to underground conversions, and pole relocations.+ Collaborate with teams to support power delivery projects for Centerpoint / Vectren.+ Contribute to grid hardening and distribution design efforts.Essential Skills+ 3+ years of experience in Power Delivery.+ 3+ years of experience supporting Centerpoint / Vectren.+ 3+ years of experience with DDS software.+ Experience in engineering design and resiliency programs.Work EnvironmentThis role offers remote flexibility; however, candidates must reside within a commutable distance to one of the following locations: Houston, TX; Cleveland, OH; or Evansville, IN.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $52.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
