Scope of the Project:This project includes backfill support on production systems, working on smaller short-term projects, and collaborating with customers, development teams, operational staff, and QA teams.Daily Duties / Responsibilities:Work collaboratively with Medicaid Services MMIS and MEDS TeamsMake coding changes to COBOL and ADS programs using IDMS Network and IDMS Relational DatabasesPerform debugging, unit testing, and integration testingSupport QA, User Acceptance Testing, and External Testing activitiesMake required coding changes during testing phasesCommunicate effectively in written and verbal formatsWork closely with Clemson staff and other contracted resourcesParticipate in rotational On-Call support dutiesRequired Skills:10+ years of Mainframe experience10+ years of MVS COBOL10+ years of JCL10+ years of IDMS/Network7+ years of CA-ADS5+ years of Changeman5+ years of CICS5+ years of VSAMPreferred Skills:SASFile-AidMedicaid or Medicare Claims ProcessingMQEndevorXpeditorSoft Skills:Strong written and verbal communicationAdaptability and flexibilitySelf-motivated and analytical mindsetProblem-solving abilitiesTime management skillsAbility to work effectively in high-pressure environmentsEducation:Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience
