Route Driver

Looking to hire immediately! Route driver. Driver starts and ends the day at our Warehouse located in Watkins (near St. Cloud). Driver will have a mix of daily assigned routes in regions of Minnesota. All routes end back at the warehouse in Watkins every evening. Hours: Part-time or Full Time: 16-40 hours weekly 8:00 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday – Friday (No weekends) Reports to: Manager of Operations Home Base: Watkins, Minn. Driving Range: Statewide Starting Pay Range: $18.00 to $22.00/hr Benefits: PTO Paid Time Off: 64 hours annual paid time-off, prorated for part-timers Employer-matched Simple IRA up to 3% Drivers are self-supervised and usually home by 6pm nightly. We treat all employees with respect and as valuable members of our team, not a number! Basic job requirements: Solid driving skills with no major driving violations on record (CDL not required). Box truck driving experience a plus. Work with customers in a professional manner. Handle physical work that requires loading bags and boxes weighing 10 - 30lbs into a cart, loading cart onto truck with a lift and emptying cart in truck. Use GPS (cell phone/GPS required). Pass a medical exam for commercial drivers. Scope/Responsibilities: the Route Driver will: Drive new, company-provided trucks to designated stores and locations throughout Minnesota. Load bags of clothing into carts (many already loaded) and onto truck. Ability to do this repetitively with breaks as needed.Transport load to warehouse in Watkins, MN. Other requirements: Ability to work independently and is comfortable with in-state travel, sometimes in marginal weather. Honest and punctual: dependable, willingness to find win-win solutions with clients. Professional: safe driver, willing to talk and dress appropriately. Customer service: proactively communicate with clients in a professional manner. Safety: able to load carts of product with a lift onto a truck safely.
