Material Handler/Paint Line Operator

MATERIAL HANDLER (Paint Line Operator)Position Overview:We are currently seeking a dependable and safety-oriented Material Handler to join our team at our Archbold facility, which specializes in the manufacturing of scaffolding products. This role plays a critical part in supporting both our Production Assembly and Paint Line departments by ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of materials throughout the facility. The primary responsibility of this position is operating a forklift and supplying production lines, while also supporting paint line operations during downtime to maintain production flow and efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Operate a forklift daily to transport materials, components, and finished goodsProvide material handling support for both the paint line and assembly areasPull and deliver component parts for scaffolding jobs to appropriate production lines or work cellsMonitor and maintain inventory accuracyDocument and report damaged or non-conforming productsAssist on the paint line during downtime, including staging, hanging, or handling materials as neededSupport and maintain 5S standards throughout the facilityFollow all safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environmentJob Requirements:Strong attention to detail and commitment to safetyAbility to lift up to 50 lbs consistently without restrictionsMust pass forklift certification and operate a forklift dailyPrior forklift experience is requiredBasic computer literacy required; Epicor experience preferredExcellent attendance recordWillingness to work in indoor and outdoor conditions as neededFlexibility to support paint line operations during slower forklift periodsCompensation:Hourly Rate: $19.00 houra { text-decoration: none; color: #464feb; }tr th, tr td { border: 1px solid #e6e6e6; }tr th { background-color: #f5f5f5; }
