You will develop new CNC programs for production runs or modify existing programs for different machines. During the manufacturing process, you will perform quality checks with the machine operator to ensure the program is producing parts according to specifications, making manual adjustments if necessary. You will also work with the engineers to look for product modifications that might reduce the amount of material or fabrication time. Although no formal education is required, applicants should be familiar with the computer-aided design programs MasterCAM and NX.ResponsibilitiesDevelop CNC programs for production runsAnalyze drawings to determine dimensions and to choose cutting tools, machine speeds, and feed ratesModify existing programs for different machinesMaintain tooling databaseMake manual program adjustments as necessaryTroubleshoot issues during the manufacturing process.Items assigned by supervisorsQualifications & Skills Required:AA diploma or equivalentCompletion of a technical or associate degree program a plusMust be able to pass drug screening Preferred:3+ years experience with programming in 3- 5-axis CNC mills or LathesFamiliarity with MasterCAM and NXBasic math skillsBenefitsHealth insurance (Medical/Dental/Vision)Life and AD&D insurancePaid time off and holiday payFlexible Spending Account (FSA)401k with company matching up to 4%
