Senior Solutions Architect
About the CompanyOne of Pine's Portfolio companies, The Vested Group is seeking an experienced Financial Solutions Architect with a strong background in Finance and deep expertise in Oracle NetSuite ERP. This role is responsible for leading the design and delivery of scalable, maintainable NetSuite solutions that align with client business objectives. The ideal candidate combines functional accounting knowledge with strong NetSuite financials expertise and consulting experience. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding solution design, identifying system gaps, and recommending effective configurations, customizations, and integrations—without requiring hands-on development. Primary focus areas include Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, spanning General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Order Management, Project Costing, Project Billing and Inventory Management features within NetSuite.About the RoleKey ResponsibilitiesPartner with clients to understand business objectives, requirements, and success criteria, translating them into well-architected NetSuite solutionsLead functional solution design, ensuring alignment with accounting best practices and system capabilitiesAdvise clients on optimizing financial processes using standard NetSuite functionality while identifying gaps and recommending appropriate customizations or integrationsFacilitate design workshops, requirements gathering sessions, and solution walkthroughs with stakeholders at all levelsDevelop clear and comprehensive functional design documentation and solution roadmapsCollaborate with technical teams and third-party vendors to deliver integrated solutions across systemsEvaluate solution alternatives through proof-of-concept exercises and provide recommendations with associated effort estimatesEnsure solution quality through active participation in testing strategy, including test planning, scenario development, and validation of system configurationsServe as a subject matter expert in NetSuite financials, staying current with new features, releases, and best practicesMentor and guide junior consultants, fostering both functional and consulting skill developmentContribute to internal practice development, including methodologies, tools, and go-to-market strategiesEffectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive stakeholdersQualificationsNetSuite Expertise:Minimum 5 years of hands-on NetSuite experience in implementation and/or support rolesStrong functional knowledge of NetSuite Financials and core ERP processesExperience designing solutions involving configurations, workflows, reporting, and integrationsUnderstanding of SuiteScript and SuiteFlow capabilities sufficient to collaborate with technical teams (hands-on development not required)Accounting & Finance Background:Minimum 5 years of professional accounting or finance experienceCPA or equivalent certification preferredStrong understanding of financial reporting, close processes, and internal controlsConsulting & Leadership Skills:Minimum 5 years of business consulting experienceProven ability to lead client engagements, facilitate workshops, and drive decision-makingExperience mentoring team members and contributing to team growthStrong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skillsCommunication & Delivery:Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to present and influence stakeholders at all organizational levelsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-facing environmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to follow-throughPreferred SkillsExperience with implementation and/or usage of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) tools/applications to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisEqual Opportunity StatementThe Vested Group is committed to diversity and inclusivity in the workplace.
