School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Renton, Washington

An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential services for students from PreK through 4th grade in a school setting located in Renton, WA. This role is a contract position, beginning as soon as possible through the end of the school year, and can be full-time or part-time based on your availability. The position is onsite, offering direct interaction with students and collaboration with educational staff.Key Qualifications:Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) credentials are required.Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology is preferred.Experience working with early childhood through elementary-age students.Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills tailored to a school environment.Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals.Responsibilities:Conduct speech and language assessments for students in PreK-4th grade.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.Monitor student progress and modify plans as needed.Provide direct therapy services onsite.Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies.Participate in team meetings and parent conferences when necessary.Benefits:Competitive compensation at $50-$60 per hour.Flexible scheduling options including full-time or part-time.Gain valuable experience working within a school environment.Opportunity to impact children's communication skills during critical developmental stages.
